EPIC FLYING SEASON AHEAD!

29th June - Great day again. 20:53 and its 29 degrees... summer is good. Spain WIN the Euro Cup Final 2008. Busy night ahead!

27 and 28th Great weather continues with good flying. Winston really enjoyed flying with Klaudia a PWC pilot from Poland (ranked 4th Women World Cup 2007) Read more on her blog here

24 and 25th - Great flying, Welcome to the big group from Japan including Kaoru Ogisawa ("Ogi") who has worked closely alongside designer Gin Seok Song for several years. Ogi is an extreme maneuvers specialist, and plays a vital role in the development and testing of GIN gliders

23rd June - The great flying has continued and Winston had a great flight yesterday evening after finally sorting his insurance out...

19th June - Sun and medium sized cumulus in the sky... another perfect flying day! Looks good for the next week. Summer is here!

18th June = Stunning Summers Day! Wonderful flying.

14th June - Brilliant conditions had by visiting pilot Gunnstein Lye from Norway... YEHAA!

8th June - Great flying today and nice and warm too. Summer is almost here and I look forward to getting some really big flying in. Bookings going well. Still places in June, July, August and September. Some just need a few more to get discounted 299 rate.

1st May EPIC day! Catalan League visit us. 54km task set. Pictures here

Byron does 62km in our valley(2hr10) with a lovely 2nd flight of 1hr20 ending in classic smooth conditions. Brilliant!

26 and 27th April - Brilliant conditions again! Peter Jennings does 2nd 65km in 5 days... Well Done! Byron arrives and does 1hr45 :)

You can have access to four world-class flying sites in one trip:

“wegofly” is based in Àger, which was host to both the British Open in 2006 and the Paragliding World Cup in 2007. Not too far away is the infamous site of Castejon de Sos, which has hosted countless World cup and international paragliding competitions over the years. We can also use Berga and Organya.

Àger is in the “foothills” (still mountains by British standards!!) of the Pyrenees, Àger is basked in warm and reliable flying air throughout the autumn. Àger has great X-C potential is famed for its evening restitution. The Catalonian corner of the pre-Pyrenees boasts some of the best X-C flying on the planet. As northern Europe starts to succumb to stable air or even become cold and grey!

“wegofly” offers paragliding holidays in Àger Spain. There are cheap flights into Barcelona and Reus where we can collect you. The Àger valley has beautiful old Spanish towns that await you, with quiet uncrowded skies. We are situated at the foot of Montsec, in the Vall d'Àger. It's a protected area of countryside for tourism conservation, providing adventure sports and activities.

Àger is blessed with great flying weather between February to end of October. Two visiting pilots, Byron (flew 9.5 hours) and Scott (flew 16 hours) in great easy thermic conditions in Sept. The locals welcome you and the pilots are friendly. Its just a fantastic place. There is a huge main take off and endless easy landing fields. Come and thermal with a local vultures.

Individuals as well as groups are most welcome so email us at wegoflyinfo@googlemail.com  with your requirements. Because of our unique situation we can be at takeoff in 20 minutes via a great tarmac road to the main take off. Depending on the day’s conditions and your flying abilities, we will try to stay in the valley to minimise travel time and maximise flying time. With the emphasis on pilot safety and fun I am sure you will have a fantastic time. XC's are part of the deal with prior planning.

Your paragliding guide Winston has many years of flying experience in South Africa, the UK and Spain. We cater for all flying nationalities so don’t be shy! Come paraglide with us in Àger Spain.

There is plenty to see and do for the non flying partners or families via MONTSEC ACTIVA who have a passion for adventure in nature. We have two Lakes, with spectacular gorges, ideal for Water sports. There are routes for all levels of people with a passion for Trekking and mountainbiking. There are also great Quad bike excursions. We have caves and impressive walls for practicing rock climbing. Paintball and archery can be arranged in a target shooting area.
