Local Àger News

02 August 2008 - Gunni has a go on his new Nova Mentor. Such a nice day that Winston could not resist to also fly. Gunni has 2 flights, 2hrs45 with a nice little XC over the back to Tremp. Happy pilots! Evening flying still to come... yehaa! Last pilots landed at 21:00. Wow. Loads of local pilots and 2 Hot air balloons (Not in our way at all). Sweet, easy smooth flying!

01 August 2008 Welcome back to Gunnstein. Nice weekend break. Its really quite a party as all our little towns have their Fiesta´s or big party! No sleep when they get going! Holiday month now for Spain and Catalunya.

28th July 2008 - Every day has been flyable so Winston and Alan have been putting in some serious hours. Good flights and they even took a look at another site called CastellonRoy. Not too far away and has great views and huge flatland flying infront. Welcome to Paul(HG pilot) and Lynne from the UK. Loads of visitors and locals make the weekends special.

23rd July 2008 - Another 50km flight for Winston! Alan and Winston prepped for launch. Winston´s vario failed before launch. Quick battery change. Winston took off with his Genie Race harness with the air inflation system (AIF) attached... A HG pilot asked Alan if Winston was flying a canoe!!! Winston specked out vertically in 5/6ms ups. The race was on. Winston went to Corca, then the Port de Ager then over La Regola he picked up a screamer to take him back to the end of the Ager Montsec ridge. He raced back to take off. Climbed out hugely over the Sant Alis. Screamed over to take off to close his triange and then raced to Ager town and ended up landing safely near his house. Really Happy! Alan has a great flight into wind after an amazing low save and ends up landing out near Les Avellanes 20km away.
