24th It all came together today - After 3 great days in the valley. The day started with great smooth thermic flights for everyone. Anders bumped his head on the inversion a few times, then went on a glide out and landed happy. Mark caught some great thermals and came back with a huge grin on his face. Paul went big with a great 30km xc flight to Tremp, assisted by an eagle for a low save. Super stoked pilots! Pics to follow soon...

23rd Big day for the boys! What a day, big climbs, nice flights, tired and sun tanned happy pilots all talking about a fantastic day. All doing what they came here for. We are very happy to be part of it! We had a great meal out last night in a new place in a close town that does sushi and great yakisoba. Loads of other great food also.

21 and 22nd - Welcome to Paul and Mark from the South Devon UK club who have got some flying in already. Paul does well in todays tricky conditions. It will be better later. Great meal last night.

20th August 2008 - Great day for Anders who gets another 2hr30 with a great flight in the evening to end it all. Once again a very happy pilot! Loads of French and Italian pilots made it lots of fun too...A big welcome from us to them all!

19th August 2008 - Welcome to Anders from Sweden who enjoyed a very smooth and lovely late flight to start his time with us. 1hr10 and a very happy pilot. Makes all the clever negotiations with his wife all worthwhile!

18th Aug - Today looks epic. We are waiting for the better stuff. A few guys have flown already. Yesterday loads of people and great flying. Helped Kris from the UK with his LitespeedS. Today we go big! Update - Kris does 3hr30 and is really happy but has sore arms! Nothing a cold beer afterwards cannot fix...

16th August - Quite a bit colder here today. The wait was worthwhile. Loads of visitors as its Fiesta Major in Àger town. Sweet evening flying with lots of potential new pilots looking up at the floating pilots hooting with happiness!

15th August - Winston enjoys a nice rest. Byron returns home safe and Cen will be back!

13 August 2008 - Byron gets another 2hrs in with 2 flights, one in the morning and a lovely pre frontal soaring in the evening. 9 out of 10 days flying. Welcome to the big group from Ireland. Rain predicted in the morning. But we have spectacular flying afterwards.

12 August - No flying today. Strong SW winds. Good news we now sell Nova wings and Kortell Harnesses. Sweet!

11 August 2008 - No flying in the morning due to large clouds. But in the evening we managed to fly in smooth glassy conditions with great restitution in the valley. Byron does 45min and lands happy.

10 August 2008 - What a day! A nice 45 min flight in the morning and then we were off to Organya for some late flying. Byron did great wingovers and good spirals and also had his longest flight of 3 hours. Winston did 2hr45. Loads of locals were doing tumbles and helicopters and all kinds of weird and wonderful things. Fantastic!

09 August 2008 - Cen and Byron do well. Blue day, lots of visitors. Byron does another 2hr40. Lovely day. Flying almost all of the day, but its summer now so we have to stop late afternoon as its gets a bit strong. But then its smoothes off and we have great evening flying. Lovely!

08 August 2008 - Another great day in Àger. Byron adds another 2hours to his flight log. Lots of locals and visitors but still the sky is feels massive and empty. Easy huge landings make this place a pleasure. Happy pilots!

04-07 August 2008 - Roadtrip with Byron to Organya, Castejon de Sos and Castillonroy. We flew big, we flew high but we realised that the best flying was here in Ager so we are back early. But what a trip. Played with the Top 20 in the world Acro pilots who were training for a comp in Italy. Visited Castejon de Sos with takeoff at 2300m. Saw loads of big birds, vultures and eagles but obvoiusly the best ones were of the pretty female ones. Brilliant!

03 August 2008 - Big day! We waited for the moment. Took off and had great flying and ended near Tremp but after doing the following Flight: Start/finish 13:20:06 - 15:58:18 Duration 2 : 38 : 12 Max./min. height2356 / 488 m Max. mean/top speed 64 km/h / 70 km/h Max/min climb rate 3.19 / -4.19 m/s over 60s Total distance 74.84 km

A big “Hola”(Hello) from Spain and "gracias"(thank you) for looking at our website.

You can have access to four world-class flying sites in one trip:

“wegofly” is based in Àger, which was host to both the British Open in 2006 and the Paragliding World Cup in 2007. Not too far away is the infamous site of Castejon de Sos, which has hosted countless World cup and international paragliding competitions over the years. We also use Organya.

“wegofly” offers paragliding holidays in Àger Spain. There are cheap flights into Barcelona and Reus where we can collect you. The Àger valley has beautiful old Spanish towns that await you, with quiet uncrowded skies. We are situated at the foot of Montsec, in the Vall d'Àger. It's a protected area of countryside for tourism conservation, providing adventure sports and activities.

Àger is blessed with great flying weather between February to end of October. The locals welcome you and the pilots are friendly. Its just a fantastic place. There is a huge main take off and endless easy landing fields. We have famous evening restitution(magic Lift). We have loads of local vultures and eagles that do not mind you sharing a thermal with.

Individuals as well as groups are most welcome so email us at wegoflyinfo@googlemail.com  with your requirements. Because of our unique situation we can be at takeoff in 20 minutes via a great tarmac road to the main take off. Depending on the day’s conditions and your flying abilities, we will try to stay in the valley to minimise travel time and maximise flying time. With the emphasis on pilot safety and fun I am sure you will have a fantastic time. XC's are part of the deal with prior planning.

Your paragliding guide Winston has many years of flying experience in South Africa, the UK and Spain. We cater for all flying nationalities so don’t be shy! Come paraglide with us in Àger Spain.

There is plenty to see and do for the non flying partners or families via MONTSEC ACTIVA who have a passion for adventure in nature. We have two Lakes, with spectacular gorges, ideal for Water sports. There are routes for all levels of people with a passion for Trekking and mountainbiking. There are also great Quad bike excursions. We have caves and impressive walls for practicing rock climbing. Paintball and archery can be arranged in a target shooting area.

Happy flights!

The "wegofly" Team

Amanda and Winston.
